Imbued with inspiration and fresh ideas, Orange Coloured Sky, owned by artist Darla Thompson McNevin, is a very eclectic and unique gallery space that embraces all things made with care by the human hand.

There is an energy that flows through this space – a warmth. It's hard to describe but perhaps it comes from a reverence for even the most vernacular of objects. In my work I am very interested in capturing the intangibles – emotions, moods, thoughts. For this reason, I feel strongly about having simple things, beautiful things surrounding me. When I wash my hands with beautiful handmade soap or drink my coffee from a beautifully crafted mug I am more aware of the moment. You don't have to have thousands of dollars to step foot in this gallery, there is something here for everyone.
